Training
The MPPU promotes a political training that is based on the testimony and culture of which it is the bearer, valuing experiences, ideas and political achievements, arising in different historical, geographical and cultural contexts. To this end it organizes:
- periodic meetings where politicians, diplomats, public officials, scholars and active citizens can share experiences, ideas and projects, referring to:
a) the ideal of unity;
b) its implications for political life and action;
c) good practices spread in different contexts; - conferences, seminars, working groups and forums in which specific political issues can be discussed in depth in a climate of mutual listening and collaboration and in respect of different visions and affiliations, with the aim of developing shared ideas and solutions;
- courses specifically aimed at young people; training in the social and political life of their city; interdisciplinary and intercultural, workshops on active citizenship in local areas or at national and international institutions.
STUDY POLITICAL SCIENCES AT THE SOPHIA UNIVERSITY INSTITUTE
The Sophia University Institute is a centre of excellence for specialised academic training in political science in the atmosphere of an international campus.
