It’s time for cities. Certain places have a prophetic destiny. They have been blessed by Heaven. One never stops delving into their message. This is the case of Bethlehem – the “house of bread”, the birthplace of Jesus who came to save humanity from hunger.
A message that urges us to face not only the current health crisis, but all the problems that afflict humanity and our common home in solidarity, aware that we are one human family, brothers and sisters of one another.
Let us renew in this Christmas 2021 then our commitment: to work together to build a world that is more just, in peace, united. To be a “house of bread” of hope, for the humanity of our days.
