<p>FONTAGRO is a unique cooperation mechanism between countries of Latin America and the Caribbean and Spain, than as a strategy to improve security food, with criteria of equity and sustainability, contributing to the reduction of poverty, has prioritized the research and innovation through project support and initiatives, within which the project is called <a title=“Más arroz con menos emisiones y menor consumo de agua” (More rice with fewer emissions and lower water consumption), led by the National Federation of Arroceros (Fedearroz), from Colombia and with the participation of La Molina Agrarian University, of Peru and the Institute of Agricultural Research (INIA) of Chile.
