The United Kingdom, liberal, leaves the European Union authorizing the circulation of goods, capital, and services. However, none of which are of the European citizens. In contrast to justifying immigration and multiculturalism, we see the effect of the Colonial British Empire where the politicians are locals but not European. The rebellion against the EU, a recent effect from the globalization, primarily comes from areas affected by the crisis that are, above all, in search of competitiveness as well as fundamental rights from workers. The youth have gone against the current, having more than two-thirds vote in favor for “remain”. But, the absence of the youth was crucial to the final result, leaving the seniors to decide for the new generation, heavily influencing their future. Furthermore, Great Britain’s exit from the EU has also pushed for a referendum on independence in Scotland, for it intends to remain in the EU, over which dangled the possibility of a reunification of the Northern Ireland with Ireland to remain in Union.
