Edited by Redazione Città Nuova

Tommaso Sorgi, a gentle and passionate thinker, interpreter like few others of the perennial novelty of the Christian message. Elected several times as a member of the Italian Parliament, he was the author of numerous publications on the history of sociology, on the relational foundation and on altruism in social research, on the history of Italian Catholicism. A soul open to the world with strong roots in Abruzzo.

For many years he was responsible for the Center named after his great friend and older brother Igino Giordani. The heritage of his knowledge nourished by a strong coherence of life as a gift.

[…] In the living memory that binds us to Tommaso we point out this essay published in the cultural magazine Nuova Umanità: “Chiara Lubich’s political action and thinking“.
